What the agent can do with it

An example

A customer pastes an error; the agent finds where it's thrown, explains the cause, and drafts an issue if it's a real bug.

How it connects

A personal access token, scoped to just the repos the agent should read.

  1. 1On GitHub: Settings → Developer settings → Fine-grained tokens.
  2. 2Pick the repositories and grant Contents and Issues access.
  3. 3Generate the token and paste it here.

After connecting

  • The agent calls these tools mid-conversation, whenever a customer's question needs them.
  • Every call is logged with its input and result in that conversation's trace.
  • Switched on or off per agent.
  • A request a person must handle becomes a task for the team instead of running on its own.
